You need:

• Aloe Vera plant
• Kitchen knife and/or scissors
• Spoon
• Water
• Heater
• Washcloth (optional)
• Blender (optional)

Steps To Take

1. Take out one or more aloe vera leaves from the plant (depending on the size). You can use a pair of scissors or a kitchen knife to cut it out at the base.

2. Wash your aloe vera leaves thoroughly under running water. You may use washcloth or a toothbrush to gently scrub it.

3. Use a knife to slice off the spines at the sides of the leaf and then cut it in half to extract the get. Use a spoon to scoop out the get from both halves.

4.You will notice that the gel will come off with some of it in more liquid form and others in a more solid form. You can use it as it is or you can even out the consistency by using a blender to blend it without adding any water. You will get more quantity of gel through this process; it will also be lighter and easier to use.

5. Apply the gel to your face and allow it to dry within 30 minutes to an hour. You may rinse off after wards with warm water. You can also use a washcloth to ensure that no residue is left.
